Eco- Schools Award

We have achieved the silver award for Eco schools. We are now working towards our gold. We have an Eco Commitee and a plan to achieve this!

SENDIA Award

We are so pleased to announce that Waterman Primary School has been accredited with the SENDIA Award. This award is received for the recognition Waterman have in providing inclusive education for our children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. 

The award ensures that schools review their provision to ensure that they are offering and delivering high-quality education for all pupils and ensures school are fully compliant with the SEND Code of Practice. 

The award has recognised how Waterman focuses on removing barriers to learning through early identification, inclusive teaching and leadership, alongside ensuring as a community, we are actively evaluating its impact to ensure we improve all classroom learning experiences and all pupil outcomes. 

One Education Reading Award

We are thrilled to share that in September 2022 we were awarded the OneEducation Reading Award. This award is in recognition of excellence within our Reading provision and highlights all the hard work staff, children and parents have completed to ensure that reading is a top priority for all our children.
